“Pittsburgh Craws”

"Pittsburgh Craws" is my most recent piece and is an ode to one of the most prominent sports leagues (negro league baseball) that helped shape sports for all African Americans and minorities to be able to showcase their abilities to world without oppressive narratives. "The Craws" was one of the first teams in the Negro League and one of more prominent teams and helped integrate blacks and whites as well as opened the door for other minorities players (Satchel Paige, Josh Gibson and Oscar Charleston) who were to able to join the baseball league we know and love today.
